Pandit Deendayal Energy University (Formerly Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University)

The School of Petroleum Technology (SPT)is an integral part of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, which is spread over 100 acres of campus, located in the plan city of Gandhinagar.

To emerge as a world-class Institution of Excellence in Energy Education, Research and Innovation which will prepare and sensitize the youth and ultimately the society for radical yet sustainable societal transformation.

Among the studies the university offers, include education in aspects of the petroleum industry, including exploration, production, drilling, reservoir, transportation, refining & geosciences of energy and petroleum sector. The B.Tech (petroleum engineering) programme of SPT is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

PDPU also offers multiple courses ranging from engineering, arts and management along with maximum exposure and opportunities to its students through various national and International exchange programs with Best Universities worldwide.
