Overview

Amity University, Mumbai was established in the year 2014. The establishment took place under the Government of Maharashtra Act Number 13 of 2014 by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. The university was set up to impart interdisciplinary education to students around the globe. It is Maharashtra's first educational institution to provide an M.Phil Clinical Psychology programme that has been approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Amity University Mumbai is a State-private university, that has received recognition and approval from various organizations. The university has been recognized by UGC. The institute is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities. Moreover, all the architectural courses offered by the university are accredited by the Council of Architecture, India.

The distinguished faculty and staff of the institute make the maximum contribution to the growth of students with their timely support. Admission Process 

The admission procedure at AUM is a precisely designed process. The whole process is designed to pick the most dedicated candidates from the group of applicants. Aspirants work day and night to book one seat for themselves. The required steps to get through the entire selection procedure are as follows: 

• Fill up the application form from the official website (Admission microsite).
• On selection appear for the admission procedure. It includes the following screens.
• Written Test
• Group Discussions 
• Personal interview
• On selection soft copy of the admission letter is provided online.

Once done the whole process, the selected candidate can fulfil the required admission documentation and do the fee payment.

Results and Cut off 

Admission at AUM is possible in two ways, one is via the decided selection process and the other is via the HSC percentage. In case the candidate has 80% or more marks in HSC from a recognized board, then they may get direct admission to the desired course. And for the admission process via a selection process, the candidate must possess a minimum of 60% marks in HSC from a recognized board. Then they can follow up on the required admission process and upon meeting the criteria, can get the opportunity to master their desired course.

Placement 

Within the campus of Amity Mumbai, a specific placement department known as the CRC (Corporate Resource Centre) is present. The department strives to give its students complete placement support and service. Guest sessions, pre-placement seminars, and other activities are among the CRC's offerings for its students.  Furthermore, this department makes an effort to provide internship opportunities to its students during their studies. This allows students to gain experience and exposure in the real corporate world. CRC goes to great lengths to ensure that students have the finest job opportunities possible. Campus Facilities

The Amity University Mumbai campus is 30-acre in size, located in a prime location in the metropolitan city. The world-class campus of the university is designed by a famous US architect. It is facilitated with state-of-art infrastructure, aiming to provide advanced and top-notch learning experiences to its students. Alongside, various brainstorming events are organized by the university to enhance the thinking capacity of the students. The Hi-tech labs and fully functional and stocked libraries of the institute help with the projects and assignments.

The university provides its students with a 2000 seater hostel facility. To fulfil the daily and general requirements of the student other facilities are also available on the campus.
