Overview

Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) was established in the year 2015. The university was set up under the Maharashtra Government Act of 2015 of the Government of Maharashtra. The aim to establish the institute was to contribute to the creation of innovation-driven India. As the university is evolving in the economic, social and financial paradigms, it is also gearing up to new challenges. It is exploiting the vibrant possibilities to enhance growth via a single-minded focus on innovation.

ADYPU  is recognized by UGC. All courses offered by the college are approved by the specified authoritative body. The university with its exemplary services in the field of innovation-driven education has earned a lot of appreciation. With the growth in the field, the university is growing to receive countless awards and accolades. It was recognized as the “Best Innovation in Education”. 

The courses offered by the university are supported by excellent facilities and highly motivated teaching staff. Across all the activities conducted at ADYPU, the faculty members try to include innovative thinking among students. This way helps them to develop effective capabilities to respond flexibly and quickly to any changes faced. This helps the students to develop a habit of always thinking out of the box and come up with several and unique innovative solutions.

The university has collaborated with many industries of national and international importance. These industrial tie-ups help them to provide practical and industrial exposure related to the subject matter to its students. A variety of events like industrial problem solving, presentations, and many more are organized by the industry-institute partnership. Course Highlights

Admission Process 

The university offers a variety of courses at UG, PG and Doctoral levels. The courses offered are all uniquely designed, specialization courses. Each course aims to provide a full-fledged knowledge on the course matter. Admission into any such unique course is a dream for many. The admission process begins with cross-checking the eligibility criteria. Then the online application form is filled. Following, each aspirant is directed to appear for the common entrance exam designed for all courses offered. They need to appear for ACET. Based on the scores obtained in the test, the selected candidates are called for personal interviews at the university. During the interview, the candidate is asked to produce their statement of purpose and show the certificates of extra-curricular activities. 

Based on the results, students are selected. Eligible students are offered seats in their desired course. The admission procedure closes with the payment of the admission fees. 

Results and Cut off 

To secure a seat in the desired course at ADYPU, it is important to be eligible. The eligibility criteria vary with the course type. The common criteria for all courses are the minimum 50% marks in the 12th board. The board of 12th must be state or central recognized. Following, the candidate must clear the required selection procedure. 

Upon fulfilment of all eligibility requirements, the candidate is offered a seat in the desired course. The admission is subject to seat availability. Once allotted the seat, the admission process with fee payment must be completed with the given time frame. 

Placement

At ADYPU, the placement and training services are provided by the Placements and Corporate Relations team. It is an alliance between the industry practitioners, the university and the student body. The cell aims at facilitating the entities to make strategic hiring and career decisions. Besides, it tries to contribute towards the Indian vision of an innovation-driven society. Thus, it develops new solutions that elevate the life quality of every individual by utilizing the creation of new knowledge. Alongside, it makes efforts on delivering brilliant minds a flourished career into top-notch companies and positions. To fulfil its aims and visions, the cell invites a variety of leading companies on campus to conduct full-time and internship recruitment drives.

These events aim to help the students have a better hands-on professional world and develop a blooming career.

Campus Facilities 

The huge, state-of-the-art campus of ADYPU is located within the lush green environment of Pune. The soothing greenery of the surrounding adds to the charm of the university. It creates an atmosphere of peace and harmony for the students to learn and grow in the whole campus is installed with high-speed wi-fi routers, to ensure connectivity in every corner of the university campus. Besides, for the proper educational development of the students, labs relevant to each course offered are provided. The faculty of the university are always directed to stay in contact with the students to help them learn with barriers.

The university provides accommodation to the students, willing to stay within the campus. The hostel rooms are well furnished. Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided by the university with sharing rooms. Each hostel is equipped with all the basic amenities like a TV, Wifi routers, CCTV camera, water coolers and purifiers, and many more. Besides, a mess, serving hygienic and healthy food to the students is available at the university. The accessibility to all basic requirements helps students to feel at home and stay at peace to focus properly on their course of study.
