What is IMU CET?
The Indian Maritime University (IMU) was founded on 14th November 2008 under the authority of the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. The university was founded to promote its main areas, i.e maritime studies, research, training, and extension. The aim of the university is to focus on emerging areas like maritime history, oceanography, maritime security, maritime laws, search and rescue, cargo, environmental studies, and more, and serve excellence in all the areas.
Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test 2024 (IMU CET) will be organized in the 2nd week of June 2024 by Indian Maritime University for various UG and PG courses. However, the IMU CET organizing committee will soon release the IMU CET 2024 Registration and Exam Dates in the 2th week of June 2023. IMU CET 2024 Application form will be released in the 1st week of March 2024.

Exam Pattern and Courses
MU CET will be conducted in the online world, and the candidates will have to answer MCQ-type questions. As per the IMU CET exam pattern, the exam will be worth 120 marks. For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded, and there are no negative marks for the wrong answer.
The aspirants who are applying for BTech and MTech programs will have to give Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, GK, and aptitude in the MCQ exam. The candidates aspiring for MBA admissions will be tested for proficiency in subjects like; verbal, Quantitative, Data interpretation, and logical reasoning abilities.
IMU CET 2024 will be organized in the 2nd week of June 2024 by Indian Maritime University for various UG, PG, Ph.D., B. Tech, B.Sc, etc with various specializations. IMU CET 2024 is organized once a year. Admission will be given to the following courses:
