CUCET 2022: Admission Procedure, Application, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Dates and Other Details

CUCET Entrance Exam

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an entrance exam conducted by the Central University of Rajasthan. In the new session of 2022-2023, CUCET will be organized by NTA (National Testing Agency). CUCET is known for being the national level entrance test for candidates who want to take admission into the UG/Integrated Programme, Post Graduate, and Research Programme in varied professional and educational fields in various central universities. CUCET 2022 Important Dates (Tentative)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidates must have done with their 12th class from a recognized board, for a Bachelor’s degree course in the Rajasthan Central Universities.
  • Those candidates who want to do their Master’s degree from a recognized university must have a valid Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Those candidates who want to do their research program, from a recognized university, must have a valid Master’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Go through the eligibility criteria of the participating universities and read out the eligibility norms.

Admission Procedure:

The admission procedure will be managed by the levels of 8 central universities which are participating, according to their courses. The respective university will declare their counseling/admission schedule and merit list as per the merit list, after the result declaration.

Admission Procedure for M.Phil and Ph.D. Program

The admission process consists of a written exam and personal interview with respective 60% and 40% weightage. Only candidates who have cleared NET/JRF/SLET/Teacher fellowship will be exempted to give the written test. In such cases, 100% weightage is for a personal interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview round.

Syllabus

UGO 1Part A includes- Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude, analytical skills topics.
Part B: the topics are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
UGO 2The syllabus includes varied disciplines topics – Analytical Skills, Reasoning, English, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, General Aptitude, and General Knowledge. 
M.Phil/Ph.D. Research ProgrammeThe syllabus for M.Phil/Ph.D. RP will be the same as prescribed for the NET-JRF/UGC-CSIR exam.

Counseling:

Once the result gets announced, the counseling process will begin. The counseling will be organized for the selected candidates. The counseling procedure will include online allotment of seats and document verification. The candidates will be offered the preferred course seat as per their rank.

Integrated B.Sc B.Ed ( Mathematics)The candidate must have a 12th certificate or equivalent degree in science stream that too from a renowned university/board. 60% marks are mandatory for the General category, 55% marks in the 12th class are mandatory for the OBC candidates and 45% marks are for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
The candidates must have Physics/Mathematics/Statistics in the 12th class.
Integrated B.Sc B.EdThe candidate must have a 12th certificate or equivalent degree in science stream that too from a renowned university/board. 50% marks in the 12th class are mandatory for the General/OBC candidates and 45% marks are for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Integrated B.Sc. M.Sc/Integrated M.Sc in BiotechnologyThe candidate must get 50% marks or equivalent in 12th level from a recognized board. The mandatory subjects are Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry.
5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Integrated B.Sc (Hons) M.Sc/ Integrated M.Sc in ChemistryThe candidate must have a 12th certificate or equivalent degree in Science stream with Chemistry that too from a renowned university/board. 50% marks in the 12th class are mandatory for the General/OBC candidates and 45% marks are for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Integrated M.C.A/ Integrated M.Sc in Computer Science12 th class degree is mandatory in any stream
Integrated M.Sc in EconomicsThe candidate must have cleared their 12th class or equivalent with Mathematics and English from a renowned University/Board. The minimum passing mark for General /OBC candidates is 65% and ST/SC is 60%.
B.VocThe student must have a 12th degree from a recognized board. 45% marks are mandatory. NSQF certification level candidates can apply. The candidates who have cleared the equivalent exam via polytechnic in the same field can apply. 
B.Tech in Electrical EngineeringThe student must have cleared their 12th class or equivalent exam in science subject with Chemistry from a renowned University/Board. 45% marks are mandatory for General/OBC and 40% marks are mandatory for ST/SC/PWD. Physics and Mathematics are mandatory along with Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology and Electronics.
B.A in Social Science12th class degree in any discipline is mandatory. The students must have got at least 55% marks.
B.Sc in TextilesThe candidate must have passed their 12th class or equivalent exam with PCM as the main subject. 60% marks are mandatory for General students and 55% marks are for SC/ST candidates.
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and MathematicsThe candidates must have completed their 12th class with PCM that too from a recognised University/Board. 50% marks are mandatory for General/OBC and 45% marks are mandatory for the SC/ST candidates.

M.B.A in AgribusinessThe candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with them in Agriculture related field/Commerce, Management, Design, Engineering, planning, and Rural Management from a recognized university. 555 marks are mandatory for the General/OBC and 50% for the ST/SC candidates.
M.A/M.Sc in BiochemistryThe candidates must have qualified B.Sc (Hons)/B.Sc in Microbiology/Botany/Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Chemistry or B.Voc in Biomedical Sciences with at least 55% marks.
M.A/MSc in Applied Criminology and Police StudiesThe candidate must have done graduation in any of the disciplines. The minimum percentage is 55% marks. 5% relaxation will be given to the candidates.
M.Sc in BiotechnologyThe candidates must have cleared their B.Sc (Hons) or B.Sc in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Botany/Life Sciences/Zoology/Chemistry or Industrial Waste Management B.Voc in Medical Sciences. The minimum percentage is 55% marks. 5% relaxation will be given to the candidates.
M.B.AThe candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the specializations or any relevant degree from a renowned university.
Or
Cleared A.M.I.E (Engineering).
Or
The candidate must have cleared the final exam from the renowned Institute of Chartered Accountants, Computer Secretaries, Cost and Works Accountants.
M.ComThe candidate must have cleared BCom (Hons)/B.com from a recognized university. 
L.L.MThe candidate must have an L.L.B degree from the recognized Bar Council of India (BCI). The candidate must have 50% marks or CGPA.
The reservation will be given to the reserved category candidates as per the CUJ norms.
M.A/M.Sc in PsychologyThe candidate must have done graduation in any of the disciplines. The minimum percentage is 55% marks. 5% relaxation will be given to the ST/SC/OBC/PWD.
M.P.A(Theatre/Music/Dance/Drama)A graduation degree in any discipline is mandatory with Performing Arts as the important subject. 55% marks are mandatory. 5%  relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.
Mater of Public HealthThe candidate must have cleared BDS/MBBS/BSc Nursing. The candidate must have done in any of the branches B.Pharm/Engineering/Bachelor of Physiotherapy/B Ayush/Policy  Science/Sociology.

CUCET 2022 Important Points:

  • In the third week of May 2022, the Admit Card will be released by the authorities, on the official website of the CUCET exam.
  • The candidate’s personal details will be included like candidate name, exam venue, roll number, etc.
  • Solve previous years’ papers and take the mock test.
  • Make proper notes and revise them.

CUCET 2022 Admit Card:

Candidates’ Admit Card is the main document that is needed to be taken at the time of admission. The Authority will soon release the CUCET admit card. The registered candidates can download their admit card most probably from the 2nd week of May 2022. The admit card will be available online. The candidates will have to log in to their details on the official website of CUCET and download their admit card.

CUCET 2022 Result

The result will be declared by the official authority. The authority will declare the result online, for the ease of the candidate. 

The candidates are advised to keep their results secure till the end of the admission process.
