Starting its journey in 1978, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune is one of the renowned business schools in India. It is an integral part of Symbiosis International (Deemed)University. Due to the outstanding academic faculties and results, course facility, and remarkable participation in society, SIBM ranked one of the top 10 B schools in India, was awarded 'Gold' Star by the QS Star University Rating 2018, and was adorned by many top rankings and award.
Courses Offered
SIBM Pune clearly emphasized two-year full-time residential MBA that spans four semesters and includes specializations in marketing, human resource management, finance, and operations management. The program is designed in such a way that it can provide the students with excellent industry exposure and a supportive classroom atmosphere is helpful to polish the students into future leaders. Executive MBA, MBA (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) programs are also available at the college. Admission to SIBM's MBA and EMBA programs is based on a valid SNAP Test result. Applicants who have been shortlisted based on their SNAP results will be invited to participate in a group exercise, a personal interview, and a written ability test.

Application Process
The candidate must be a graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC / ST) in Bachelors.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but they must secure a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.
Applicants must be shortlisted in the SNAP test. According to the SNAP scores they will be invited to the selection process at SIBM, Pune. This stage includes the GD-PI & Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).
For an MBA Executive, the candidate must have working experience of two years after graduation and the rest of the application process is the same as an MBA.
Results and Cut-offs
To be admitted in SIBM, Pune the results completely depend on the SNAP test scores. In the year 2020, the cut-offs were 98 percentile and in 2019 it was 96 percentile which was higher than a few IIMs. After that, the performances in the Personal Interviews and Written Ability Test decide the seat in SIBM, Pune.
Placements
The latest placement of the 2021-2022 session is really remarkable. In each and every sector-top companies with handsome CTC offers the students of SIBM, Pune. In finance management recruiters from companies like AB InBev, Accenture Strategy & Consulting, HSBC STG, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, InCred, Infosys Consulting, Jio Platforms, LogiNext, McKinsey & Company, PayU, PwC, Relaxo, Thoucentric, Vedanta, Whatfix, among others came and hire the students. The highest CTC in this sector in 2021-2022 is 24 LPA. As well as, in HR management companies like AB InBev, Accenture Solutions, Accenture Strategy & Consulting, Aditya Birla Capital, Cisco, ClearTax, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Reliance Industries, Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, Search Consulting, Shadowfax, Tata Steel, Varroc, Wipro, WNS and Zetwerk have participated in the recruitment program. The highest CTC in this sector is 30 LPA. In the marketing sector also many top companies have participated in the placement program and the highest CTC was, 45 LPA. In sectors Operation management, the highest CTC was 28.80 LPA.
