Fees
There are two categories of academic fees payable by students of IBI, Greater Noida: one time payments and tuition fees. There are two main categories of one time payments:
- Application forms: INR 1,100 (for the form and application processing).
- Registration fee: INR 75,000, payable at the time of admission.

Admissions
The eligibility criteria for admission to IBI Greater Noida are as follows:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration, awarded by a recognized University anywhere in the world.
- The undergraduate aggregate performance should be at least 50% across all years, or equivalent CGPA.
- The applicant can also apply during the final year of the UG degree, as long as he/she can furnish the final degree certificate and transcript by October 1 of the year in which admission is secured.
The application and selection process has the following steps:
- Submission of the filled up application form by the candidate. He/she must submit academic certificates, transcripts, and entrance examination (CAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT) scores, and pay the application fee of INR 1,100. This can be done online, via the IBI website, or offline.
- After the submission, eligible applicants must appear for a screening round, which tests their analytical and reasoning abilities.
- Next, a shortlist is released. Shortlisted candidates must travel to the IBI campus for the next two rounds.
- Shortlisted applicants go through two rounds of Personal Interview (PI) at the I Business School campus. The first is a Panel Interview, and the second is a one-on-one interview with the Dean or Director.
- After this, the overall score of each shortlisted candidate is calculated with the following weightages for different components of the application:
- 20%: Entrance examination score / percentile.
- 20%: Screening test score.
- 20%: Panel interview performance.
- 30%: Dean interview performance.
- 5%: UG academic performance.
- 2.5% (each): Standard 10 and 12 Board Examination performance.
- The top 180 candidates according to their overall score are invited to join IBI. They must pay the registration fee to confirm their acceptance; anyone who drops out of the process will allow candidates on the waitlist to take up their offer.

Cut-Offs
The only cut-off for admission to I Business Institute Greater Noida is the undergraduate aggregate percentage. Students with an average percentage across all years lower than 50% cannot apply. Scholarships
I Business Institute, Greater Noida, offers scholarships to needy and meritorious students in six different categories. Students are allowed to combine multiple scholarships for which they qualify, subject to a maximum amount of INR 1.5 Lakh.
Category 1: Qualifying Examination Scholarships. These are awarded based on the candidate’s performance in the MBA aptitude entrance test. There are different cut-offs for the four main entrance test scores that are accepted, as follows:

Category 2: Academic merit scholarship. This is a scholarship of INR 30,000, awarded based on consistent academic performance at three levels, including:
- An aggregate of 60% or higher during the undergraduate degree (all years combined).
- At least 70% in the Standard X Board Examination.
- At least 70% in the Standard XII Board Examination.
Category 3: Work experience scholarship. This seeks to diversify the profile of the incoming class, by attracting applicants with at least one year of professional experience. Candidates who have a CTC above INR 5 LPA will receive a tuition fee reduction of INR 50,000. Candidates with a CTC between INR 3.2 LPA and INR 5 LPA will receive a scholarship of INR 40,000. BPO experience is not considered under this category.
Category 4: Single mother scholarship. Candidates who were raised by a single mother will receive a one time scholarship of INR 50,000, subject to an academic record of at least 60% across the board (UG, Standard 10, and 10+2 Board Examinations).
Category 5: Girl child scholarship. Female candidates will be offered a scholarship of INR 1.5 Lakh, subject to an academic record of 65% at three levels (UG, Standard X, Standard XII).
Category 6: Merit scholarship. This is the only category scholarship that is not subject to the INR 1.5 Lakh cap, and is awarded to a limited number of students every year. The criteria are stringent, and require excellence at every stage: at least 2 years of work experience with a CTC of INR 4 LPA or higher, 80% at every stage of education (Standard 10, 12, and undergraduate studies), and a score of 85 percentile or better in the qualifying MBA aptitude test (CAT, XAT, or CMAT). This scholarship is worth 50% of the total tuition fee.
