Dual Degree students of DMTIMS must pay INR 6.5 Lakh as total course fees. This amount has the following components:

  • Registration Fee: INR 50,000. This must be paid after the candidate’s admission is confirmed. After it is received by DMTIMS, the candidate will receive the final offer letter.
  • First year’s academic fee: INR 3 Lakh. This must be paid before the first year’s classes start, and covers tuition fees, security deposit, academic office fees, and access to library and IT infrastructure.
  • Second year’s academic fee: INR 3 Lakh. This must be paid before the second year’s classes start, and additionally covers alumni and placement fees.

Other academic fees include application costs (INR 1,000), examination fees (INR 1,000 per trimester, or INR 6,000 overall), and late payment fees (INR 100 per day).

Students who choose to live in the DMTIMS hostel must pay the semester boarding & lodging fees, in addition to mess fees. Students may also choose to live at home, and bear the cost of daily transportation to the Institute campus.


The eligibility criteria for admission to Dr. Mar Theophilus Institute of Management Studies, Navi Mumbai, are as follows:

  • The applicant must have completed a UG degree of minimum duration three years from any recognized University in India or abroad, or be in the final year of such a degree; ideally completed by June of the year in which the candidate applies to DMTIMS.

The aggregate percentage of all DMTIMS Dual Degree applicants over all the years of UG study (minimum three years) must exceed 50%. There is no predetermined cut-off score or rank in the MBA entrance tests; however, in all cases, the candidate must successfully give at least one examination and obtain a valid rank to be considered for admission. It is also not possible to define a cut-off after the process ends because students may submit 30+ different test scores, and there is no normalizing factor.
