Overview

VIT Bhopal, also known as VIT-B was established in the year 2017. The Bhopal campus is one of the four leading universities of the VIT Group of Institutions. The university was set up to impart futuristic technical education and instill high patterns of discipline through their dedicated staff to set global standards and make students technologically superior and ethically strong. This overall in turn will improve the quality of the human race. 

VIT-B is known as one of the best private universities in Bhopal. The university is recognized by UGC and has been accredited by NAAC with grade A. Besides, the university is well-known for providing compulsory soft skills training to its students to help them turn into better professionals. These along with several other accolades have been provided in the name of the VIT-B campus. 

The faculties of the university are selected from the best of the world. They via their professional expertise and knowledge train and teach the subject matter to the students. The university uses Collaborative and Active Learning through Technology (CalTech) and (FFCS) to empower the earnings of the students. Admission Process 

VIT Bhopal offers a variety of specialization courses in unique streams. All the courses belong to the  undergraduate ,  postgraduate  and  doctoral  levels. Admission to any of these courses begins with the filling up of the application form available online on the university website. On successfully submitting the form, the candidate is allowed to sit for the common and compulsory entrance test for all courses.

Based on the rank obtained via this exam, the student's admission application is accepted by the university. But due to pandemics at present, the admission is taken based on the rank list prepared based on marks obtained in the 12th class. On successfully making into the rank list, a seat in the desired course is allotted to the students.

Results and Cut off

Participation in the admission procedure at VIT Bhopal is possible only if the candidate is eligible for that. The general eligibility for application to any course at VIT-B is a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2. The HSC also needs to be passed from a recognized board of state or central importance. For admission to BBA courses, the minimum 60% criteria work for both the 10th and 12th exams. Thus upon fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, the student is allowed to sit for the required entrance exam. On clearing the exam, the seat of the desired course is allotted to the student (Subject to availability). 

Placement

The university placement services are provided by a centralized placement system. This system operates all the required tasks to ensure a better future for the students of the VIT Group of Institutes. The main aim of the cell is to interact with the industries at the national and international levels. The cell then invites a variety of leading groups to train the students and recruit them. To provide training facilities, the cell in association with the industries organizes certain specific events. Active participation in such events stimulates the potential of the students and helps them improve their skills. Thus, helps the students bag the best opportunities coming in the way to secure a better future.

Campus Facilities

The campus of VIT-B is 200 acres in size. The campus is located at a prime location, within the soothing greenery of Bhopal. The whole campus is built on state-of-the-art campus infrastructure. It is also associated with Government of India initiatives like 'Make in India and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'.To facilitate the effective learning of each and every student, the university provides all the facilities required, ranging from educational to recreational. The whole college campus is enabled with unlimited internet facilities with wave-2 technology. To make the proper use of this connectivity, the University itself organizes several activities and events like Hack-a-thons, Idea-a-thons, Make-a-thons and many more. Besides, to strengthen students' interaction and their personality as well as a technical base, it provides student chapters and technical associations. The hostel facilities are provided to students within the campus.The hostel rooms are well furnished with a properly running mess. Each hostel is installed with high security and speed Wi-Fi connection. The internet service is provided by a high-end firewall. Besides, to check the health of the students, the university provides them with a full security system, proper pharmacy facility along with nutritious and hygienic food. A fully equipped gym and play area are also part of the campus. Additionally, to provide a homelike feel with all comfort, the campus has a convenience store, cafeteria and a bank with an ATM facility.
