The University of Patanjali is a private university which is located in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand and was established in 2006 by the Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust and later recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university has 16 years of excellence in the field of education. The university offers various PG Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in several specializations, such as yoga science, Sanskrit, literature, physical education, philosophy, vaidic darshan, psychology, tourism and travel management, music, and many more.
The university has a total of 15 faculty members, and approximately all of them have Ph.D degrees as their highest qualifications, which authenticates their knowledge and qualifications. The students have to pass the 10+2 or an equivalent level of examination from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks to get admission to an undergraduate course. For admission to a master’s degree program, students need to have an undergraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. For doctoral courses, students are required to have a master’s degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 45% marks.
