Overview

Oriental University Indore was set up in the year 2011. The university was set up by Devi Shakuntala Thakral Charitable Foundation and is a part of the Oriental group which is a top name among central educational groups since 1995. The vision of establishing the university was to provide an excellent and distinctive education environment to the students. This is aimed to accelerate the academically challenged students and challenge the academically accelerated students. Hence, bringing in the development of students from both ends.

Over the years of its establishment, the university has seen many advancements. It has achieved a number of awards and accolades for its research, educational contribution, excellence, and intellectual developmental education programs. With its firm determination and consistency, the university is moving ahead every time to reach higher heights. Admission Process 

Admission to Oriental University is a dream for many candidates from around the world. The tag of the university is like an award for many. Hence, to fulfill their dreams, the university provides them with an easy application process. The process of admission application is mentioned below.

Upload all the documents and the qualifying exam score card (exam specific to the course desired) Upon completing these steps the university releases the list of selected candidates. Then the document verification is conducted. Upon proper completion of these steps, the candidate is provided admission to his desired course. 

Results and Cut off 

For admission to any course offered by Oriental University, students need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. For most of the UG courses, the candidate should pass the 10+2 exam from a recognized board. The minimum passing percentage for any course admission is 55% and the more the better. But for admission to PG courses, the candidate must clear the bachelor’s degree with a decent percentage. The more will be the percentage in the previous exam, the more will be the chances for admission in the applied course.

The university has its own training and placement cell to take care of the future of its students. The cell works effortlessly all day long to bring the best career opportunities to its students. They help them prepare for the same by conducting mock interviews and aptitude exams at regular intervals throughout the year.
