Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) was established in 1998; its main campus is in Hyderabad, with smaller campuses in Lucknow and Srinagar. It has a unique mandate; it was created in tribute to the vision of Maulana Azad, the first education minister of India, who championed higher education.     • Students must hold a pass certificate for the 10+2 examination issued by any recognized Board of Higher Secondary Education in India.
