Among the private universities in India, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), holds the pride of place. In fact, DA-IICT is the first University in the country to offer Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs in Information and Communication Technology.

Among the courses, the university offers, include the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It also offers postgraduate courses such as Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in ICT, Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology, Master of Science (ICT) in Agriculture and Rural Development, Master in Design (M. Des.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

Research and Development

At present active research is being carried out within the institute into various aspects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and into the many ways in which ICT affects society and culture. 

An important aim of the research activity at DA-IICT is to enhance the quality of interaction between the institute and industry for solving technical problems in the broad field of ICT. Equally important is the aim of stimulating and enhancing the research ability and potential of DA-IICT students who have the interest and aptitude to carry out innovative research.
