In subsequent semesters, the topper in the previous semester examination automatically qualified for the Merit Scholarship, with no additional interview. Continued award of the scholarship within a semester is subject to maintenance of 75% academic attendance in the previous month.
3. Attendance Based Merit Scholarship: Students whose attendance is 100% in any semester (except the final one) will be offered a one time book grant of INR 1,000 in the subsequent semester. This is automatically awarded to all qualifying students who submit a bill for the requisite amount spent on purchasing academic materials.
4. Scholarships for Divyang students: Students with 40% (or higher) disabilities, 75% attendance in the preceding semester, and a family income below INR 1.2 LPA will be offered the Divyang scholarship by CUSB, amounting to INR 1,000 per month.
5. Earn While You Learn scheme: Students who have good academic performance and wish to apply for an additional living stipend may request CUSB to assign them a part time job on campus - for example, in the library or in a laboratory attached to their Department. They are paid INR 60 per hour, subject to a maximum of 10 hours per week worked.
6.
