According to the reports and updates of IIT Kharagpur, the JEE Advanced 2021 date has arrived. The scheduled exam date is on October 3, 2021. The official brochure of 2021 JEE Advanced has been released.

As per the student’s request, 75% of the eligibility criteria for admissions into IITs have most probably been scrapped this year. For taking admission via JEE Advanced, the candidate must have a 12th passing certificate. Those candidates who have missed out on JEE Advanced 2020 are eligible to give JEE Advanced 2021.

What is JEE Advanced?

JEE Advanced is organized every year by one of the top seven Indian engineering and architecture institutes (IITs), namely IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, and IIT Roorkee or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore under the subordination of aegis of the Joint Admission Board ( JAB). Admissions to Dual degree, Bachelor’s and Integrated Master’s in all the 23 IITs, but 10+2 is mandatory. The admission in IITs and The Indian School of Mines (ISM) is made based on the candidate’s JEE Advanced rank.

Through JEE Advanced, applicants can get admissions in the following courses:

4-year Bachelors- B.Tech, BS
5-year BArch
5-year Dual Degree – B.Tech, MTech, BS, MS
5-year Integrated Masters – MTech, MSc, Dual Degree

JEE Advanced 2021 Eligibility

  • Aspirants, who want to pursue engineering via top colleges, have to fulfill the below JEE advanced eligibility criteria:
  • Those candidates whose date of birth is 1st October 1997 and more are eligible to give the JEE Advanced 2021. The relaxation of 5 years is being provided to ST/SC category.
  • Both Indians and Foreign candidates can apply for the exam.
  • As per the student’s request, 75% of the eligibility criteria for admissions into IITs have most probably been scrapped this year.
  • For taking admission via JEE Advanced, the candidate must have a 12th passing certificate.
  • Those candidates who have missed out on JEE Advanced 2020 are eligible to give JEE Advanced 2021.
  • There are two maximum attempts for the JEE 2021 exam.

JEE Advanced 2021 Application Process

  • The application process for JEE advanced 2021 will be conducted online.
  • The candidates are requested to fill out their personal and academic qualifications, like name, email address, phone number, etc.
  • Even the candidates need to give the medium of the examination.

JEE Advanced Documents Required

At the time of registration, candidates have to submit the following documents:

  • Class 10th certificate
  • Class 12th certificate
  • Caste certificate 
  • Disability certificate wherever needed.
  • OCI or PIO certificates.

JEE Advanced 2021 Important facts

  • Those candidates who are willing to appear for the JEE Advanced 2021 will qualify for the JEE Main 2021 examination.
  • Only those candidates who have their name among the top 2,50,000 rank holders in JEE Main 2021 will get a golden chance to appear for JEE Advanced 2021.
  • Those who will qualify for the JEE Advanced 2021 will get a chance to get admissions in B Arch, B.tech, B.S programs, etc., in various IITs and top engineering colleges in India.

JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Pattern

  • JEE Advanced 2021 has two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2, with two different languages, English and Hindi. You can opt for any of the languages.
  • JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted as a computer-based test.
  • There is a limit of 3 hours to attempt each paper.
  • The JEE Advanced 2021 contains MCQs of various subjects- Numerical Aptitude Questions and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
  • At the time of the examination, the marking scheme will be provided to the students in instructions.

JEE Advanced 2021 Syllabus

Recently, IIT Kharagpur has released the JEE Advanced 2021 Syllabus. This is true that there was a buzz to eliminate some portions from the syllabus, but recently, IIT Kharagpur has claimed that there will be no amendments in the syllabus; it will remain the same. Those students who are appearing for the exam can going-through the topics via 11and 12 class NCERT.

Physics: General, Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Modern Physics, Thermal Physics.

Chemistry: Physical chemistry, Organic and inorganic chemistry.

Mathematics: Algebra, Analytical geometry, trigonometry, differential calculus, vectors.

Architecture Aptitude: Geometrical drawing, freehand drawing, imagination, and aesthetic sensitivity, three-dimensional perception.

JEE Advanced 2021 Mock Tests

In the online mode, IIT Kharagpur has recently updated the JEE Advanced Mock test. Any aspirants who want to have a grip of exam pattern and difficulty level can give the mock test and enhance their productivity. The mock test is available for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
