Academic Excellence

The University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), was established in the year 2005 with the aim of providing quality technical education in Engineering & Technology. The Institute offers six B.Tech programmes of 4 years duration in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering and Biotechnology. In a short span, the U.I.E.T. has become a preferred destination for B.Tech aspirants because of its good infrastructural facilities and excellent faculty compared with those of other institutes in the region.

It offers 6 B.Tech. programmes and 5 M.Tech. programmes. The admission to B.Tech. is done on merit basis while for M.Tech. admission is based on GATE score (If GATE students are not available, then through the university’s entrance exam). The admission is done online.

The average placement package in 2019 was approximate 7 lakh per year while the highest grab was up to 40 lakhs. The top recruiters are HCL, ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Asian Paints, and Wipro.
