School of Architecture and Interior Design, SRM University is one of the leading architectural colleges in Tamil Nadu. It was established back in 1992 and is affiliated with SRM university Kanchipuram, and the Council of Architecture. Furthermore, it is approved by AICTE.

Admission Process

You can apply by visiting the official website of SRM or through NATA and JEE Main Paper II / JOSAA. These are conducted by the Central Board of Secondary education. Candidates would be asked to get themselves registered and then submit the relevant information. Besides that, they may also have to pay a fee for the application form. Lastly, the admission procedure is completed which is strictly based on merit. There is no entrance test required. 

Result and Cutoff

Students should pass with a maximum of 50% in all their subjects to achieve the degree. While the cut off of this current year is given below. 
 

Placement 

The architecture branch does not have any kind of placement programs initiated. But the candidates have to complete the internship as a five-year course. Sometimes internships are given in foreign companies as well. Other than that, private companies often come for campus interviews for the final year students. This gives a perfect opportunity for the newbies to step into the professional world by getting paid a higher salary than expected.
