Overview

Siddaganga Institute of Technology is a private college located in Tumkur, Karnataka. It was established back in the year of 1963 and is run by the Shree Siddaganga Educational society. The college is spread out over an area of ​​65 acres with all the facilities available including greenery all over and a sprawling playground too.

This private institution is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and the All India Council for Technical Education. With more than 300 staff members and 5000 students, the college has been providing top-quality educational services for the past 58 years. 

The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University too. Other than that, the college offers 12 undergraduate, 13 postgraduate, and 16 Ph.D. programs. Not to mention, the school of architecture came into existence in the year of 1992.

Students willing to pursue BE programs must apply for Karnataka CET via the KCET website and fill the application form. The candidates outside Karnataka must apply through the COMEDK. 

Besides that, the students applying for the Ph.D. The program must collect a copy of their application and submit it to the college with the required documents. Once the candidate is shortlisted, they would be called for the interview process. 

Result and Cut-Off 

Siddaganga Institute of Technology results are declared on the official website of the institute. The college follows cut-off by using the equating methodology to calculate the grades of the candidates. This also depends on the number of students appearing for the examination, the difficulty of the examination, seats available, and other factors. 

Placement 

Siddaganga Institute of Technology has a department of training and placements that focuses on every single student so that they can have a career-oriented future. The department has various connections with multinational companies and invites them for campus recruitment annually. Some of the companies include Amazon, Akamai, Wipro, Mind tree, Aricent, and others. The highest package recorded until the date is Rs. 29 lakh per annum. Other than this, the technology institute also offers more than 200 internship opportunities to the students.

Campus Facilities 

The campus is spread over an area of ​​50 acres with greenery on all sides. It has been designed dynamically for the benefit of both the candidates as well as the faculty members. This private college has a sprawling playground for the candidates that encourages sports and other outdoor activities. To be specific, it has a volleyball court, basketball court, cricket ground, race track, and a badminton court. It also has an indoor stadium, gymnasium, laboratory, cafeteria, classroom, lecture halls, and a library that contains hundreds of books and journals. Moreover, the college comes with free wifi connections and hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels are also fully furnished that come with tables, chairs, cots, book racks, and ceiling fans. Not to mention, Siddaganga institute of technology has an incubation center along with a health center.
