Overview

Saveetha University is located in the city of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh and was established in 2017 and recognized by the state government as a private university in 2018. The university offers various courses in different specializations like Medicine, Dental Surgery, Engineering, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Management, Law, Architecture, Physical Education, and Pharmacy.

This university is considered one of the most ethnically diverse learning centers in India because of the students who come from all around the globe to study and live on campus while sharing their culture. The university has specializations in MBBS and other medical courses, and to support this, they have collaborations with many of the industries and hospitals.

● The college  of physiotherapy here offers several specializations like Sports Medicine, Orthopedics and Trauma, Education & Health Promotion, Women's Health, Neurology and Pediatrics.

● The College of Occupational Therapy offers the same specializations with various diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

● The School of Medical Science offers bachelor of science (B.Sc) courses in various specializations of the medical field.

Admission Process

To get admission into this university, one needs to follow the given procedures.

● The application form should be filled in capital letters in the candidate's own handwriting using a blue or black ballpoint pen.

● Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the areas given in the application form.

● The application form must be completely filled in all respects. Incompletely filled application forms will be summarily canceled.

● The downloaded and completely filled application has to be sent along with a DD of Rs. 500 in the name of "Saveetha Amaravati University",  and should be sent to the Admission Officer at the given address through speed post.

● "ADMISSION OFFICER, Saveetha Amaravati University, 3rd Floor, Vaishnavi Complex, Gurunanak Colony, Opp. Executive Club,  Near Dr. Ramesh Hospital Junction, Vijayawada-520008".

● A soft or digital  copy of the application form can be sent to admission@saveethaamaravati.university.

● Completed application forms should reach the ADMISSION OFFICE before the last date provided by the university. 

● The University is not responsible for any postal delays.

These are some of the documents needed in the admission process, mark list of H.Sc / 10+2 or its equivalent, Conduct Certificate from the institution last studied, Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied, Proof of Date of Birth, Community Certificate, Migration Certificate (if necessary), Certificate of extracurricular activities, Eight passport-sized photos and Six Stamp size photographs, Nationality Certificate and Copy of Passport and Visa (Foreign Students only).

Results and Cutoff

There are different results and cutoffs for getting admissions into this university for undergraduates as there is a need to have passed a higher secondary education with physics, chemistry, and biology. The university provides admission on the basis of the merits of previous academic records and the university entrance test for some of the courses, students have to pass the cutoff marks in entrance test to participate in the counseling process.
