Overview

RV College of Architecture is located in Bengaluru and was founded back in 1992. Earlier it was known as the Department of Architecture in the RV College of Engineering (RVCE) in Bengaluru. Then in the year 1995, the department was remodeled into how it is currently. 

Again in the year 2009 the department secured anatomy and was renamed RV College of Architecture. In the year of 2014, it got affiliation from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU ), Belagavi, Karnataka. 

The new campus is an excellent example of contemporary architecture which looks forward to transforming students into professionals for the future generation. 

Other than that, it has grown into a fierce reputation for its strong faculty with their experience in specialized fields. With highly educated and skilled faculty members, the campus puts all efforts to nurture the students.

Admission Process

Wanting to be part of an RV college of architecture? Well then, you must register yourself for the entrance exams through the respective official website of the college. Furthermore, the application process can be done through offline mode only. 

• Visit college - Candidates have to visit the college and collect the application form from the authority. 
• Fill in the details - After this, they must fill the form correctly by adding the documents and details that have been asked for. 
• Some of the documents include the HSC mark sheet, migration and character certificate, entrance exam admit card, entrance exam fee receipt, medical certificate, photographs and more. 
• Make sure that no irrelevant document has been added as it can lead to cancellation of admission. 
• Verification process - Now the candidates have to carry the original documents for the verification process.  

Note - candidates willing to take admission in the B.Arch should carry class 10th, 11th and 12th mark sheet. 

Whereas the candidates willing to take admission in the M.Arch should submit their application to the Hons secretary along with the photocopies of the mark sheets.

Result and Cut Off 

The admission and results of the college are based on the merit list and one should meet the eligibility criteria. Furthermore, the process of admission begins for the candidates who have passed 10+2 with 50% of marks in total aggregate and Maths as a compulsory subject. 

The selection is based on NATA score and the cut off marks are the minimum qualifying marks that one has to score for admission. 

However, it is determined depending on the factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available, number of students appearing for the exam and more.

Placement 

The RV College of Architecture is a renowned institution that is also considered to be a great feat by many. The college has been completely successful in raising the rankings. 

However, direct placements are not available in the field of architecture and students seek internships and jobs themselves.
