Apart from this, the educational institute offers Ph.D. degrees in three varied disciplines. The college is situated in Darjeeling, West Bengal, located in the beautiful foothills of mighty Himalaya. The college is officially affiliated with (WBUHS) and was established in 1968.
The college is the biggest college in West Bengal, covering almost 6 districts with Graduation, Postgraduate programmes in the college, college is giving opportunity to medical students to learn medical skills and serve the nation. Admission Procedure
The selection of aspirants for an MBBS degree is granted via the merit list declared by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. The merit list is declared on the basis of the NEET-UG exam organized by NTA.

Key Points for MD and MS Admissions
The candidate who wants to apply for MD/MS at North Bengal Medical College must have completed their internship before March 31st of the admission year.
50% of the college MD/MS seats are allotted under the State Quota.

Key Points for Ph.D Admission
RAT exam is an objective type exam of 60 marks and writing exam will be of 40 marks. The candidate has to score 50/100 to sit in an interview round.
The candidate must have shown their research paper presentation in at least one national/international workshop/conference/seminar.
The minimum duration for the Ph.D full-time is 3 years and part-time is 5 years. And the maximum time period for both is 6 years.
