Maulana Azad Medical College, one of the top government hospitals in Delhi, was established in 1958. The institute is also known as MAMC. The medical college is attached to Irwin Hospital, which is presently known as Lok Nayak Hospital. The medical college is ranked 17 by NIRF 2020 and ranked 3rd by the popular Times of India and India Today. The medical institute offers varied facilities to patients, it has 7,200 patient attendance, 2800 beds, and 47 operation theatres. The medical college offers 290 undergraduate courses, 245 postgraduate and super-specialty courses. The institute imparts the best education to its students, with a faculty of 426 professors and 810 residential doctors, the institute is serving the nation by building the future Doctors.

The medical institute offers education in various courses in more than 23 departments such as Biochemistry, Anatomy, Community Medicine, STD, Dermatology, Leprosy, General Medicine, General Surgery, etc. There are four medical institutes, GB Pant IPGMIR, Lok Nayak Hospital, Guru Nanak Eye Centre, and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, with which the medical college is associated. As per the ranking of IIRF experts, MAMC ranks in 17th position among the top 100 medical institutes in India. Apart from that, MAMC is one of the top-ranked medical colleges in Delhi. Admission Procedure

Maulana Azad Medical College admission is organized in an online mode via the MAMC official website. The candidates who want to get admission to MAMC, have to go through the entrance examination. The application fee of the college is Rs 750 for all the courses, UG, PG, and super-specialty courses.
