Maulana Azad Medical College, one of the top government hospitals in Delhi, was established in 1958. The institute is also known as MAMC. The medical college is attached to Irwin Hospital, which is presently known as Lok Nayak Hospital. The medical college is ranked 17 by NIRF 2020 and ranked 3rd by the popular Times of India and India Today. The medical institute offers varied facilities to patients, it has 7,200 patient attendance, 2800 beds, and 47 operation theatres. The medical college offers 290 undergraduate courses, 245 postgraduate and super-specialty courses. The institute imparts the best education to its students, with a faculty of 426 professors and 810 residential doctors, the institute is serving the nation by building the future Doctors.
