Overview

 Since 1953, founded by Dr TMA Pai, MAHE- Manipal Academy Of Higher Education in Karnataka has been home to about over 33000+ students from 67+ different nations. Earlier it was deemed a university but now it has been changed into a center of excellence offering knowledge to its students. 

Over 65 years of its existence, it has successfully made its name on the international map as a world-class educational town. It offers 350 programs across 30 disciplines and also has campuses in Malacca, Dubai, Bangalore, Jamshedpur and Mangalore. 

Courses Offered

Being an iconic institution and ranked among the top 35 universities in India, MAHE offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research Programs in various disciplines. So here is the list of courses offered at MAHE along with their eligibility: 

The above offered undergraduate courses require 10+2 and a minimum of 50% marks individually in Chemistry, Physics and Biotechnology/Biology. 

• B.Tech and B.Tech (lateral)- 10 + 2 along with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics + MET individually.
• Post-basic B.Sc Nursing- B.Sc. nursing graduates along with 55% in overall aggregate.
• B.Des, BBA, BA (General/Hons)- 10 + 2 with at least 50% from any stream.
• B.com and BBA- 10+2 with 50%
• BHM- 10+2 with 45%
• B.Arch- 10+2 along with 50% + NATA in Mathematics, Chemistry and English.

 Some other courses offered under PG are MCA, MDS, MA, M.Arch, M.Tech, MBBS, etc. Besides, it also offers PG Diploma and certificate courses to those who have passed in graduate and M.Phil or PhD courses to those who have passed in master's degree.

Admission Process

• Visit the official website of MAHE and go to the Admission page.
• Select Programs and check through the courses offered and then click Apply Now.
• Register yourself with an e-mail id or contact number. Then enter login details and start the application procedure.
• Fill in the form with all necessary details and upload documents as required.
• Once done, submit your form after paying the application fee through online mode. 

Result and Cut Off

For courses at MAHE, admissions are done on the basis of rank in the Manipal Entrance Test through Manipal Counselling. One also needs to secure a minimum mark of 50% taken together in Mathematics, Physics and in any one of Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or even on any technical vocational subject. 

Placements

Speaking about placement cells, MAHE is well known as it provides the best career opportunities to its students. Some major courses that get provided with placement offer through MAHE are such as biomedical, engineering, pharmaceutical and management. 

Around 1,500 graduates are placed every year and the institute has the record of providing the highest number of campus places. INR 16 LPA, is the highest salary package offered and the average package is 5.25 LPA.

• Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor - Graduated in 1997, is now known for his enormous contribution in the field of Science and Technology. He is an acclaimed Malaysian astronaut and an orthopedic surgeon.
• Mirza Faizan - He is an Indian aerospace scientist who is known for developing the Ground Reality Information Processing System (GRIPS) .
• Esha Gupta - Model and Bollywood Actor.
