Fees

The total academic fee payable by PGDM students of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Technology & Management, Indore, is INR 3.25 for the whole two year program. The split is as follows:

  • INR 37,000 payable at the time of admission, to finalize the acceptance of the offer.
  • INR 72,000 payable at the beginning of each of the four semesters.

The admission fee of INR 37,000 includes a refundable caution deposit of INR 3,000; the remainder of the fee will not be refunded. The academic fee includes the tuition fee, examination cost, and the fee for usage of shared IT and library facilities.

Students of LBSITM must also budget for living costs, including hostel fees, the cost of food, and the cost of transportation to the campus (only for students who do not live in the hostel). Admissions

The eligibility criteria for admission to the full time PGDM program at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Technology and Management, Indore, are as follows:

  • The candidate must be in the final year of (or have already passed) an undergraduate degree of minimum three years’ duration from an Institution of Higher Education recognized by the University Grants Commission.
  • The aggregate over all the years of the Bachelor’s degree must exceed 50%. This is relaxed to 45% for reserved category candidates.
  • The applicants must have a valid score card in any of the following 9 MBA entrance tests: CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, SNAP, NMAT, CET, or LBSMAT.

The steps in the application procedure are as follows:

  • Filling up the online application form on the LBSITM portal.
  • Paying the application fee of INR 500.
  • Uploading photocopies of the following documents:
    • Standard X and XII Board Examination Marksheets.
    • Undergraduate degree certificates and all semester academic transcripts.
    • Domicile certificate.
    • Caste and income certificates (for students who wish to apply within particular categories / for income based scholarships).

  • Students may also apply offline, by visiting either LBSITM Indore or LBSIM Delhi, and sending the filled up application form and documents via post, along with a Demand Draft for INR 575.
  • After the deadline for submission of applications, LBSITM will release a shortlist of candidates with valid submissions. All shortlisted candidates may appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
  • The GD and PI rounds are organized in 8 Indian cities: Delhi, Indore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, and Jaipur.
  • The final merit list is prepared based on the percentile score in the qualifying entrance test (CAT, GMAT, etc; 60% weightage) and on the performance in the GP and PI rounds (40% weightage).
  • Selected candidates will be sent an offer by registered post and email. Students who wish to accept the offer must pay the admission fee of INR 37,000 and report to the LBSITM campus on the date of academic registration.
