Overview
KMCT Medical College was founded in 2008. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India. At the beginning stage, the college holds 100 MBBS seats. The institute is affiliated with the Kerela University of Health Sciences. In 2015-16, the institute has added wings to its success by introducing Postgraduate courses in Pharmacology and Orthopaedics specialties.
In 2020-21, the other courses were introduced in varied specialties like Community Medicine, General Medicine, Microbiology, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Radiology, Anaesthesiology, ENT, and more. From the 2016-17 batch, the MBBS seats have been increased from 100 to 150 by the approval of the Central Government.
The renowned medical college works with KMCT Medical College Hospital, has more than 720 beds. The multispecialty hospital is staffed and equipped with supportive specialties and general units. The hospitals have won many quiz contests in various medical disciplines. Apart from that, the college welcomes the Alumni for the Alumni meet and gives them recognition for their work and contribution to society.
