Courses Offered

Course Highlights

● Skill development series shall be conducted over a period of 4 semesters

1st semester- Soft Skill

2nd semester-Technology Skill

3rd semester -Employability skill

4TH semester- studies in Indian Values and management.

● Each course has two components being internal assessment marks and the second, being the semester-end exams.

● The internal evaluation method is developed to evaluate the student’s performance undergoing an internship project. 

● The MBA students have to undertake one implant training with a business or service organization after 2nd semester. The said training shall be of 60 days in any manufacturing industry, service industry, NGO, social projects

Admission Process

All the interested applicants need to submit an IMER application form with the testimonials of the attested certificate, mark sheets, scorecards, etc. All candidates must also meet the minimum cut-off and admission criteria

For the government quota, the candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university with 50% marks and SC/ST has this cutoff as 45%. The candidates must have appeared for the Postgraduate common entrance test which is conducted by Govt of Karnataka.

Students appearing through the management quota shall also have to fulfill 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university. They also need to appear for PGCET conducted by Karnataka Government or CMAT/MAT/CAT/XAT/KMAT or any other entrance test recognized by AICTE New Delhi.

In both cases, if the applicant has completed graduation from other than Rani Ch Annamma University, they must produce an eligibility certificate from Rani Chennamma university as well as migration from the same.

With a wide number of scholarships like Rs 15,000 to first 1o students securing 80 and above percentage at degree exams.  Scholarships are provided by the state government for the minority sections. KLS IMER merit scholarship for top 5 rank holders in PGCET and K-MAT.

Results and Cut-off

The results and cut-offs are purely based on merit.  The Karnataka PGCET results in 2021 went up to 25172 in 2AG in MBA Courses. 13922 in 2BG, 16411 in 3AG, 15373 in 3BG. 

The admission here is on merit and the score of CAT/ PGCET/ CMAT/ MAT/ CAT/ XAT are also considered. After successful selection and reporting letter, the interview is taken at college by the admission committee and after successful clearance of interview, the candidate is admitted.

The college offers quite good college placements. The package offers range from 2.5 lakh to 8 lakh per annum.
