Overview
King George’s Medical University (KGMU), formerly recognized as the famous Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, is a medical college, situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. In 2002, the Government Act upgraded KGMU into a university. The KGMU institute is located in the heart of Lucknow city and is connected through public transport. There are two faculties at KGMU, Faculty of Dental Science and Medical Science. As per the reports, KGMU is the home to 1 paramedical college, 7 nursing colleges and 9 medical colleges.

Admission Process

- Medical aspirants, looking for admission in KGMU, MBBS, and BDS courses, have to qualify for the NEET entrance test. There are approx 70 seats for BDS and 250 seats for MBBS.
- Admission forms can be filled out online or candidates can fill out the form from the university office.
- Candidates must visit the official website of KGMU and register their details, like name, email id, mobile number, etc.
- After that, pay the application fees of INR 2000 via the challan through HDFC or Allahabad bank.
- Once you are registered, submit your examination fees along with the application form.

As per the updates, the KGMU website has not showcased any information related to 2019 placements. But as per the IIRF reviews, a few of the highlights of KGMP 2019 are listed below :
- All the students who have participated in KGMU campus placement got jobs in renowned hospitals. Some of the students have opened their hospitals.
- The KGMU toppers are from various domains such as Neuro, Cardio, Pediatrics, Osteo and so on.
- Rs 45 LPA was the highest salary offered to the KGMU Doctor.
