The Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science also known as KITS in Nagpur is a private institute. It was built in the year of 1885. The college is affiliated with RTMNU (Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University) and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). 

The college is accredited twice by the NBA and NAAC with B++ grades. The institute focuses on providing high-quality education to its students and provides facilities that lead them to the life of professionals in their fields. 

Courses Offered 

KITS offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral courses to every student in the field of architecture. The B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) course is available for a duration of five years. Any candidate willing to take admission in any of the programs must fit the eligibility criteria.

Besides, the counseling for B. Arch is done by MHT CET and for M.Tech the counseling is done by BE CCMT. The cutoff requirement for admission for JEE Main is 22 marks, MHT CET- 54, and for B.Arch 97.98 percentile. To be precise, the cut-off by the score in the year 2021 was 27. 

Placement 

KITS is well known for the placement facilities it offers to its students. KITS provides both the training programs as well as placement cells to conduct activities for students. The KITS placement cell looks forward to actively interfacing and networking the activities with reputed companies and organizations. They make sure to arrange Campus recruitment training for students who are in their third year. The college has given the opportunity to nearly 135 students the previous year in multinational companies like Bosch, TCS, Polyester, Excellon, Cognizant and more.
