The first step includes uploading your portfolio through the admission form for UG courses on the official website of ISDI, Mumbai. Your portfolio can include 8-10 pieces of some of the best work you have done. Those work can be related to any type of media such as photographs, performance videos, sculptures, graphic designs, animations, sketchbook pages, paintings, drawing and more.

Or, if you do not happen to have a portfolio, the second step is completing a design project by ISDI. The design project asks for you to create a visual work on any of the given themes that include:

  1. One World
  2. Tracing Nature
  3. Translating Tomorrow

Any kind of media is acceptable, so you can create and send anything starting from photographs, 3D work, sculptures, digital images, collages, to animation.

The second step is to take the online Design Aptitude Test (DAT) by ISDI. This step is often known as the second stage of the ISDI Challenge.

After emerging successfully from the second step, the third and final step is the Online Interview and the last part of the ISDI challenge.

The primary process of the PG programs is also the ISDI Challenge, where candidates are given an opportunity to present their portfolio and participate in an online interview. The ISDI Challenge takes place over a period of 11 months and is a holistic evaluation of the student’s passions, skills and inspirations. Students can fill up the online admission form on the official website to apply for the ISDI Challenge for PG admissions.
