Grant Medical College

Overview

Established in 1845, Grant Medical College is among the oldest medical colleges, controlled by Maharashtra Government. The college’s official address is - JJ Marg, Nagpada-Mumbai, and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health and Science. In 2020, the college was recognized by Popular The Week and Outlook and ranked 8 and 11 among the best medical colleges in India. Also, the good news is the institute is approved by the MCI.

The medical college is providing top-notch Education in varied courses at UG, PG, and PG diplomas in Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences, and Allied Sciences.

The college is a perfect hub of great infrastructure, attached hostels, and a library. The institute has an attached 2,844-bed hospital that serves lakhs of patients annually. This amazing college has a green and open campus, with 5 hostels, 7 canteens, and 45 wards. Facilities for teachers, resident doctors, nurses, and medical students are also available here.

The college consists of a departmental museum, which contains radiographs, catalogs, and charts. All kinds of stuff are made by students under the professor’s guidance.

Admission to the MBBS program is done on the basis of the NEET-UG score.

PG Courses

Placement

As per the experts’ investigation, The institute does not conduct any placement drive. However, students are permitted to complete their one-year internship at the attached hospital. This is a valid internship for an MBBS student.
