Fees

The tuition fees for the three main degree programs offered by Gandhinagar Institute of Management are:

Admissions

• MBA and PGDM:
  • All applicants must possess an undergraduate degree in any discipline, of minimum three years’ duration, awarded by a recognized University in India or abroad.
  • Students in their final year of UG studies may apply, provided that they can submit their final degree certificates and transcripts before commencement of MBA classes.
  • Applicants must ordinarily submit a score from any of these MBA entrance tests:  CAT, XAT, CMAT, or MAT. Any other score recognized by Gandhinagar University will also be accepted. Technically, students can also apply without submitting an entrance test score, but this may adversely affect their admission chances.
  • The different between the MBA and PGDM admissions is that, in the first case, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC Gujarat) conducts centralized admissions, whereas the PGDM program is directly supervised by Gandhinagar University
• BBA:
  • The applicant must hold a pass certificate from any Board of Secondary Education in India for the Standard XII examination.
  • The aggregate marks should exceed 45%, or its equivalent (if the Board issues grades). This criterion is relaxed to 40% for SC, ST, SEBC, and EWS candidates.
  • All combinations of subjects (including Science, Commerce, and Arts) are accepted. However, English and Accountancy are compulsory; if Accountancy is not studied at 10+2 level, the candidate must complete a bridge course in the subject after joining GIM and paying INR 2,000.
• PhD in Management:
  • The applicant must hold a Master’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 55%.
  • GIM may schedule an interview, a test, or a GD round to test the candidate’s skills.

The steps in the admission and application process include:

• Filling up the application form that can be obtained from the Admissions Office, Gandhinagar University.
• Submitting documents in support of the academic, personal, and entrance test details submitted in the application form.
• After the Gandhinagar Institute of Management authorities release the shortlist of eligible candidates, students must apply for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview round on the GU campus.
• After the final selection rounds, GIM releases a merit list of candidates who are sent an offer of admission.
• Students must indicate their acceptance of the admit offer by paying the first installment of the tuition fees.

Cut-Offs

Applicants to the BBA program at the Gandhinagar Institute of Management (GIM), must have an overall aggregate of 45% (or higher) in the Standard 12 Board Examination.
