Baroda Medical College

Overview

Baroda Medical College is a well-reputed medical institute, working under the Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Gujarat. The college was established back in 1946 by Sir Pratap Singer Gaikwad, he was the former ruler of Boroda. The college began its work in June 1949. The college is known to be the best medical institution in Vadodara.

Since the inception of the college, it has been providing quality education to medical students. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India, providing undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses to the medical students. The college is serving the country by developing future doctors. With its extensive amenities for research and patient care, the college has made its name in Vadodara. The college is treating all types of medical conditions at their medical college campus, consisting of Government Nursing College of B.Sc (Physiotherapy) and B.Sc (Nursing courses) and Government Physiotherapy College. 

Highlights

MBBS Course 

The MBBS course at Baroda Medical College is of four and a half year period that too with the one-year mandatory rotatory internship. The internship at BMC includes various courses in medicine, community health, obstetrics, surgery, child health, gynecology, orthopedics, emergency medicine, etc. The college is following all the guidelines of the Medical Council of India. The candidate who is applying for an MBBS program must get rank in the NEET-UG exam organized by National Testing Agency (NTA).
