The Anant National University (ANU) was established in 2016 by the Laxman Gyanpith Trust with the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2016. ANU is considered one of the best private design universities in Gujarat. The University was set up with the vision to become one of the top universities in India by 2025 in the domain of design, sustainability, and built habitat. Admission Process

The candidate needs to follow a well-structured application process to grab a seat from the limited seats offered at ANU under various streams. The application process involves an online application form available at the institute’s official website. Following application, the candidate needs to clear a special screening exam designed separately for separate level courses.

These screens are as follows:

  • For B. Arch.: NATA
  • For B. Des. : AnantU Design Entrance Test (DET)
  • For M. Des. : Submit portfolio, recommendation, and Statement of purpose
  • For fellowship: Submit a statement of purpose, resume, and portfolio
  • For fellowship for climate action: Telephonic interview
  • Ph.D.: appear in research aptitude Assessment test, Comprehensive evaluation of Research proposal

Following clearance on the respective screens, an online interview is set up for the selected candidates. On selection in the provided screen and interview, the further admission procedure is followed. 

Results and Cut-off 

Admission at ANU under a course at any level a strict procedure is followed. The eligibility in UG courses is based on the scores of 10+2 from a recognized board. The candidate can be from any discipline in 10+2. For PG courses and higher, a good graduation scorecard is required. 

Following the eligibility criterion fulfillment, the candidate needs to clear the required screening with a personal interview. Based on the scores of the candidates, a final merit list is prepared. According to the list, an offer letter of admission in the respective course of study of each student is provided. On receiving the admission offer, the student needs to complete the candidature process at the earliest to secure the seat. Otherwise, it is allotted to the next deserving candidate. 

Placements 

The students of the university are supported by the career service office (CSO). They help in every possible way to attract the most suitable opportunity while graduating. The office works to smoothen the interaction between the industry and the academy. This helps to provide great exposure to students and create the best opportunities for them. Besides, the office works to promotes learning via classroom projects, industry projects, training, and internships. All these options help students gain hands-on, real industry working experience.
