The ACS Medical College and Hospital is situated in the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu and was established under the Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, a well-recognised deemed to be university in south India. Admission Process

The college has a fixed number of seats and  they offer admission through the national level qualifying exams and through the process of counseling.

The student has to follow these steps.

● Students have to ensure their eligibility to apply for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET).

● Students must have the educational background of science, which includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their primary subjects in 10+2.

● The candidate must have qualified for the cutoff mark in NEET to proceed further.

● After securing under merit, one has to go through the counseling process and then choose this college to take admission.

● After preparing the merits, if the candidate has the percentage and percentile marks in the entrance test that makes them eligible for the college, they would get a call letter on their registered email address.

Results and Cutoff

The students are selected in the college on the basis of their academic marks, such as a candidate must have obtained not less than 50% marks in English and 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, both at qualifying and competitive entrance examinations. A 10% relaxation in marks are given to the candidates belonging to the scheduled caste or schedule tribe or OBC category.

To be eligible for a competitive entrance examination, the candidate must have passed any of the qualifying examinations as enumerated above. Based on the Merit of the student appeared in the national level qualifying examination and Entrance examination / Viva voice conducted by this university.
