To give Vedas education to the aspirants, the government has taken the initiative to introduce Vedas as a subject with scholarship. The government has decided to establish the five Veda Vidyapeeths, which Maharishi Sandipani Pratishthan will head at Kamakhya Devi’s place and at the “Char Dhams”.
The Ministry of Education is ready to set up a different board : The vedic education board, which will be working on the guidelines of other renowned educational boards like CISCE, CBSE, and other state boards. However, Vedic Board will focus on teaching about Vedas, Moral education and vedic math, etc.
The Veda-based education board will work as other boards after taking the guidance and inputs from Sanskrit and Mathematics experts. The board’s motto is to offer education linking Indian culture knowledge and the past Indian glories with innovative modern education learning goals.

The National Education Policy (NEP ) 2020 recommends educational institutes kick off a sweet spot that gives education to students about Indian culture and modernism. It also asks the educationalists to start a spot where Indian Knowledge should be given to the public. After NEP 2020, many schools and colleges have taken the initiative and began teaching students about Hinduism like Upnishads, Geets, etc., as part of the curriculum. Many schools have changed their history books, and now their present history book showcases India’s past glories.
Recently, the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in his weekly radio program “Mann Ki Baat,” has said, “For the people of India, who made the world aware of the most important laws of mathematics, mathematics should not be a problem but an easy subject. If we teach vedic maths to our children, then their fear about maths will also end.”
He also said, “With Vedic Maths, you can even solve big scientific problems. I would like all parents to teach Vedic Maths to their children.’
Even today, Dharmendra Pradhan, Education Minister, will launch a book on “Indian Knowledge.
