Overview

The Mewar University (MU) is situated in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan and was established in the year 2009 as a private university recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The university offers a lot of diplomas, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in various specializations such as engineering, science, management, commerce, arts, humanities, mass communication, several skill development courses, and many more.

The university gives special emphasis on higher education and thus offers a high level of faculty members who have exceptional knowledge in their recognized field. The experience they carry is unmatchable with any of the facilities. More focus on practical knowledge is the key feature of the university.

The university offers admission to students from all around the world who live in the campus hostel and share their culture and knowledge with the regional students. The university also provides many of the live training workshops to enhance the skills of the students so that they can feel the industrial environment at the university and this will help them later in their starting professional career.

Admission Process

The candidates need to follow the given procedure to get admission to the university.

• The candidates have to visit the official website of the university to apply online for admission, or they can download an offline application form.
• The candidates need to register themselves first by providing their personal details along with choosing the desired course.
• Completing the registration process will lead the students to the application form where they have to fill in all the required details like previous academic records and other details.
• The candidate needs to pay the application fee, which will enable them to appear in the university entrance examination.
• On fulfilling the eligibility, the students are called for counseling, where they need to bring in the marksheets and certificates for the verification of the eligibility.
• After counseling, the university releases a list of selected students, and the students need to pay the fee on the given date to confirm their admission.

Results and Cut off

The university offers admission to the university on the basis of their previous academic record and the score on the university entrance test. For an undergraduate program, the student needs to pass 10+2 or an equivalent level of examination from a recognized board of education. The student has to appear in the university entrance test and make sure to get on the merit list to get admission. For a masters, students need to have a graduation degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university in India. Admissions in postgraduate courses are purely based on the merit of the students.

Placement

The university offers campus placement drives for students in their final year. Along with the placements, the students were first provided with an internship, which would lead the students to learn the real-life conditions of the industries and corporate world. On completing the internship and training, the students get placement offers from those companies and have an upper hand in other campus placement drives.

Alumni Network

The alumni of the university are working in different sectors of employment all over the world. The university has an alumni association cell that tries different ways to connect the alumni by registering them through the web portal and organizing several alumni meetups where the alumni register their participation. It forms a relationship between the university and the corporate world that is necessary for the placement drives and the better future of current students.

Campus Facilities

The campus of the university is located in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan and spread over an area of 30 acres. The university has greenery all over the campus and trees. The campus has all the necessary facilities, which are required for the smooth functioning of the academic process. The university is 18 km away from the city, providing a noiseless environment for the students.

The university offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls of national and international residence. The hostel has an active wi-fi connection running smoothly all day and nights. There are separate messes for vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. The mess provides good and healthy food to the students and staff.

The university also offers a central library which is a place of wisdom at the campus. The students regularly visit there for the academic books along with the journals and research papers. The laboratories are equipped with the modern instruments and all necessary resources required for a lab.

The university organizes many events and cultural fests for the students to enjoy their academic life along with the education. Many events like tech fest, sports tournament and cultural activities regularly happen at the university.
