Overview

Garden City University was founded in 2013 in Bangalore , Karnataka. In 1992, Dr Joseph VG formed the Garden City Education Trust with the help of a number of other notable educationalists. This trust was established with the purpose of establishing a center for a value-based educational institute that would provide great educational quality to the future generation of students. This university is rapidly increasing in order to promote social progress and contribute to the development of our country's new age.

According to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, or NAAC, Garden City University is an A-Grade university. This university is a world-class institution that is also accredited by the University Grants Commission. Garden City University's main mission is to transform the way people think about education in India by raising standards and enhancing our students' employability, skills, and knowledge.

GCU lives true to its motto of "Emphasis on Life" by focusing on both the Emotional and Intelligence Quotients of its students. The Teacher-Student Bond is shown by the Emotional Quotient, which ensures multi-dimensional learning. Intelligence Quotient encompasses all kinds of learning, including peer-to-peer learning, which promotes creativity. Admission Process

To be considered for admission to Garden City University, students must complete and submit the application form found on the university's official website. A conditional offer letter is sent to the registered email address when the registration costs are paid. The students must next choose their preferred course, complete the main application form with supporting documentation for verification, and pay the first installation of the admission costs. Candidates will get their acceptance letter once they have completed all of these stages.

Results and Cut off

For admissions at Garden City University, applicants must have 10+2 or equivalent education from any recognized board in the country. Currently, there is no cut-off for admission to the university. However, scores above 50% in higher secondary school can help secure acceptance into most of the undergraduate courses offered by the institution. The entrance requirement for Master's programs is graduation with a minimum of 50% grades in any discipline or equivalent. 

Placement

The Summer Internship Program (SIP) is an experiential learning component of the undergraduate degree programme. Campus Facilities

The university is spread out across 50 acres of lush greenery. The lush foliage on this beautiful university campus creates a calm ambience. Both boys and girls can stay at the hostel amenities. Internet, telephone, and television connections are available in all of the hostels and faculty residences, as well as RO water, standby power, and security. Televisions, newspapers, magazines, a table tennis board, a badminton court, and other amenities are available in all of the dormitories. For sanitary clothing washing, all residents have access to laundry facilities. Medical and ambulance services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Garden City University Library is crucial in terms of offering information sources and services to the library's users. Books, journals, publications, bibliographies, OPAC, references, and referral services are all available in the University library. Aside from the aforementioned, the University subscribes to a number of academic databases to meet the needs of any academic researcher.

This university has 35 clubs divided into three groups: career focus clubs, sports clubs, and cultural and professional clubs. Each group's goal is to motivate students to learn more about themselves and their actual passions. Clubs strengthen and contribute to the social and cultural atmosphere of every educational institution.
