Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology is a private university which is situated in the city of Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 2002 and was recognized as a university in 2009 and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers various diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in several specializations such as engineering, management, commerce, business, science, computer science, computer applications, medical sciences, agriculture, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and many more.

The students are given admission to the university on fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the desired courses and the cutoff marks in the entrance examination organized by the university. Some of the national level entrance examinations like JEE Mains are also preferred by the university.
Students need to pass the 10+2 or an equivalent level of examinations from a recognized board of education with at least 50% marks, and a relaxation of 5% marks is given to the reserve category students to get admission to an undergraduate course. For the master's degree, students need to have an undergraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 55% marks, and a relaxation of 5% marks is given to the reserve category students.
