Savitribai Phule Pune University, one of the best institutions in the country, is situated in the North-western piece of Pune city. Padma Bhushan Rajesh Khanna, the “first superstar” of Indian Cinema was an alumnus of Pune University. Kay Kay Menon, the Indian film, stage and television actor did his Master of Business Administration from the Department of Management Sciences at the Pune University. Gaur Gopal Das, the former Hewlett Packard engineer turned motivational speaker and Indian lifestyle coach is one of the prominent alumni of Pune University. Anjali Menon, the national award-winning film director and screenwriter widely known for “Ustad Hotel” studied communication studies at Pune University.
