PERD or B. V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education and ResearchDevelopment Centre is a well-equipped research and development centre which is an internationally recognized institute in recent days. It has world-class laboratories and education facilities for global students. It has been a constant support to the pharmaceutical industry since 1990. It is an industry-academia government collaboration that offers amazing courses and a great R & D unit for the pharmaceutical industry in the country.

Being one of the best Pharmaceutical Research and Development centres in India, it offers doctoral candidates’ education. The Centre offers several Ph. D. programs. Students must have a master’s degree in the respective field, with 60% marks, to join the courses. Several seminars and training workshops are also organized by the B. V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education and Research Development Centre. These short-term training programs help a student find their path of interest. The institute does not offer any scholarship directly, but they suggest some funding agencies that help students with a scholarship. Among all the departments, academic training is provided in analytics, microbiology, pharmaceutics, pharmacology and toxicology, and pharmacology and phytochemistry. 

Being a part of this research and development centre, one can know several new projects that are always running. The motto of the research is to bring out better treatment and medicines alongside learning about new diseases as well. Their workshops are also a product of Research and Development.
