The term army and law go hand in hand. An army could never break the law of the country. It’s against their belief. The Army Institute of Law was established in 1999 and then shifted to Mohali in 2003. Our respected ex-President Late Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was the one to inaugurate the Institute. The Institute has taken a pledge to provide law education to the one who wants to serve the nation. As the courses are quite impressive, you would also find the campus to be very impressive. Beautiful architecture and the vicinity of the city make it a home away from home for many students.

If you have always dreamed of studying law then you must go to the Army Institute of Law. It is a government-backed Institute that is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council or NAAC. The level of study is also verified by the Bar Council of India. Since it is a Government institution the course fees are quite affordable. If you are interested to make your career in law you must have the Army Institute of Law in your list of top-priority colleges.

They offer both Bachelors and Masters in Law. After your 10+2 you can opt for B.A. LLM. If you are already a Law graduate then you could opt for the LLM. course. The scholarship opportunities at the institution are pretty impressive. Depending on your academic report during the study you can apply for several scholarships that could help you to meet your expenses.

Research and Development

The Army Institute of Law has amazing student societies that always host some events and programs on new topics. This is how students get to know about the new topic of research, and brainstorming too helps in the development of the institution and law.  It has CRCLP which is the Centreville for Research in Consolation Law and Policy which encourages students to have an interest in constitutional law. The ACRSS, that is, All Centre for Research in Social Sciences, works on social science and its development. Apart from these, they have a moot court society, debating society, sports committee, cultural society, CRCLG, and a Legal aid cell.

Placements and Alumni

The placement opportunities are also interesting. There are lots of law firms and corporate companies offering jobs to new graduates or an LLM degree holder. As the college shows a noticeable course and education quality, the alumni are also noticeable. The alumni say that they offer good placement opportunities. A-grade companies come for campus interviews. The placements are decent and so is the salary package. Depending on your degree and experience, the salary could start from 5 lakhs per annum, and go on till 12 lakhs per annum in the beginning. Sawar Manda, an alumnus of this college, who has experienced a great time at the campus, praises the quality of the education, the experience, and also the placements to be amazing. Other alumni like Anurag Moga also can’t stop praising the institution.
