Overview

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, in S.A.S Nagar, which is widely known as NIPER – Mohali, is a university under the government of India which makes it a public university. NIPER is a university under the establishment of the Central Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers amongst other six universities of similar subjects.

NIPER offers various courses in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and masters and doctoral degrees in the same. This institute plays a very significant role in Human Resource Development for the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry, which is ever-growing. It has been in the front foot of India’s science and technology-based industries with a wide range of capabilities in drug, medicine, and chemical manufacture and development.

The visitor of NIPER is the president of the Republic of India and the member of the parliament governs, frames, and reviews the policy architecture of NIPER along with the academicians and entrepreneurs. NIPER is also represented by the director, who is the chief academic and executive officer.
