Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology which is abbreviated to SRMS CET, located on the Lucknow – Kanpur Highway is a private-unaided engineering college. SRMS CET was established by Dev Murti in the year 2011 in the memory of Shri Ram Murti Ji and it is managed and run by SRMS Trust. SRMS CET offers undergraduate courses in B. Tech in Engineering. This institution is known to have created a top-notch learning atmosphere with its state-of-the-art infrastructure, architecture, and highly qualified faculty members. The campus of SRMS CET has various amenities for its students, like, a playground, library, gymnasium, hostel, and a lawn tennis court. SRMS CET is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow which was in fact known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University, or the UPTU before. SRMS CET has been awarded the best in terms of “Gross Average Intellectual Attainment Per Student” amongst all of the private and government colleges under the Uttar Pradesh Technical University. This institute has been selected by the “National Project Implementation Unit” of the Government of India, for the Technical Quality Improvement Programme, which is financed by the World Bank. SRMS CET offers various undergraduate engineering course such as Bachelor of Technology in computer science and engineering, Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, and Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering and the courses offered by this institute and its academics are handled by different departments and there are the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Basic Engineering Science and Humanities.
