All India Law Entrance Test

The candidates applying for AILET 2027 must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.

Nationality:

Candidates of PIO, Indian nationality, and OCI are eligible to apply for the AILET exam.

Educational Qualification:

1. For BA LLB (Hons): The candidates must have completed their schooling with a minimum of 50% marks. Those appearing in their 12th standard in 2026 can apply for the AILET exam.
2. For LLM: Applicants who have completed their LLB or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% can apply for AILET. 50% marks are mandatory for ST/SC/PWD category. Candidates who are appearing for the LLB final semester exam are eligible for the AILET exam.
3. For Ph.D.: LLM degree holders can apply for the AILET exam. The aspirants must get 55% marks in their LLM. 50% marks are mandatory for the ST/SC/PWD category.

• The application process will be held online, from form filling to the application fee to the admission procedure.
• Candidates who are of foreign nationality will be exempt from giving AILET 2027. Admission to such aspirants will be based on their merit-based score.
• The candidates can get the sample paper for AILET by paying Rs 500 via credit/debit/post in favor of the Registrar, National Law University, along with their place of residence.
• The candidate must keep their admit card safe until the admissions process is over.
• SC/ST/PWD candidates will get reservations as per university law.

AILET 2027 Application Form

• The candidates can fill out their application form by visiting the official AILET website. You need to provide your details, such as name, gender at birth, etc.
• You need to provide details of the qualifying exam, such as university name/board, passing year, marks obtained, etc.
• The applicants need to upload all the scanned copies of their signatures and photographs in their application form.
• The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category will get a relaxation in the application fee. You need to submit your disability/category certificate.
• Once you have submitted the information in the application form, submit your form.
• A hard copy of your application form should be kept with you for future reference.
