Overview

St. Joseph's Institute of Management is located in Bengaluru, India. The institute is formerly known as St. Joseph's college of business administration. It offers a two years PGDM program and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. 

The college was established in the year of 1968 and is one of the oldest management institutions in Karnataka. It is managed by a group of members of the Society of Jesus known as Jesuits. 

This private business school is also a member of the International Association of Jesuit business schools. Moreover, it has been ranked the 95th position in 2020 for MBA.

Students need to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized university. The students must have a consistent academic record of the first class in STD X, STD XII & Graduation.

 

Applicants who have cleared all the subjects in their first attempt will be considered. While applicants who have a history of more than two arrears need not apply.

 

Applicants who have appeared for the Final Graduate Level examination and are awaiting results can also apply for this program.

Ph.D

 

Students seeking admission in this program must know that it is based on marks scored in CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMA, or CMAT.

 

Candidates must have a  minimum of 550 composite scores in MAT to appear for the final year graduation exams.

 

They must also appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the University of Mysore.

 

Students must score at least 55 marks out of 100 (or 50 marks in the case of OBC/PWD/Transgender candidates or 45 marks in the case of SC/ST candidates) in the test shall be declared as eligible and can apply for the Ph.D. admission.
