Admissions

The eligibility criteria for admission to Shri Vaishnav School of Management, are as follows:

• MBA:
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration from a recognized Institution of Higher Education, in any discipline. Students in the final year of such a degree may also apply, provided that they submit their final degree certificates and transcripts before they join the MBA course.
  • The aggregate over all UG semester examinations must be at least 50%, or 45% for reserved category candidates.
  • The candidate must have a valid score in any recognized MBA entrance examination e.g. XAT, CAT, CMAT, and MAT.
• BBA:
  • The applicant must have completed 10+2 studies in any stream, with Standard X and XII certificates awarded by any recognized Board of Secondary Education in India or abroad.
  • Candidates may apply before their Board Examination results are declared. However, their final joining will be subject to submitting the final pass certificate.

The steps in the application process are:

• Visiting the SVVV online application portal.
• Creating an applicant account and entering personal and contact details.
• Uploading a soft copy of the candidate’s photograph and signature; both files should be less than 25 KB in size.

Scholarships

1. Academic Merit Scholarship - 1: Toppers of any board in the Standard XII Examination receive a full tuition fee waiver (valid for BBA and Dual Degree students only). This is only applicable for the first year of study.

2. Academic Merit Scholarship - 2: All BBA and Dual Degree applicants with more than 90% in their Board Examination receive a 50% tuition fee scholarship.

3. Entrance Test Scholarship: This is for MBA students with exceptional performance in the MBA Aptitude Examination. Applicants with a percentile above 90 in the CAT (or above 75 in the other entrance test) are given a 50% tuition fee waiver in the first year.

4. Scholarship for SVVV Wards: Children of employees of any institution within the Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya umbrella will be given a scholarship of 50% or INR 25,000 in the first year, whichever is less. Both UG and PG students are eligible.

5. Merit Scholarships: These are applicable from the second year onwards; the top 10% of each class receive 75% tuition fee waivers (as long as their CGPA exceeds 8.5), and the next 10% receive 50% scholarships.

6. Merit cum Means Scholarships: Students in the second and subsequent years whose CGPA exceeds 7.5 and have a family income below INR 3 LPA receive a 25% reduction in the tuition fee payable.
