Overview

The postgraduate institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) is known to be the best medical institute situated in Chandigarh. The renowned institute laid its foundation in 1962. The institute is one of the top medical education institutes in India. Currently, the institution is working under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the government of India, and the Indian Nursing Council. 

The institution’s aim is to provide quality education to its students and ample facilities in terms of highly qualified medical doctors and teachers. Admission Process

Admissions at PGIMER are offered to students based on the entrance examination, INI CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test).

• Candidates can fill out the details on the application form available on the PGIMER website.
• Click on the option of the academic course and select your course, MD/MS/DM/MCH/MDS.
• After that, candidates will be redirected to the PAAR Basic registration page.
• Candidates have to fill in their personal and academic details like phone number, category, address, marks obtained in 10th and 12th, etc.
• After that, candidates have to click on “ Generate Registration ID and Password.
• System-generated Id will appear on the candidate’s screen and must take its screenshot for future use.
• For log-in, candidates can use their ID and Password.
• Next, candidates in this step have to upload their signature, thumb impression, and their passport size photograph.
• Submit the form and take its printout for future use.
• After a few days of submitting the application form, must checkout whether their form is selected or rejected.
• If in case, the application is rejected, rectify your mistakes, make the changes and submit the form again.
• Candidates have to log in with a unique code and can choose their preferred courses.
• Take a printout after submitting the form.
• For the final registration log in with your registration id, unique id, and password.
• In the next step, pay the application fees.
