Overview

MIT - WPU School of Law is a private law school situated in Pune, Maharashtra. This institution was established in 1983 and is affiliated with MIT World Peace University. Apart from imparting legal education, this institution tries to instill good values, morals, and ethics which helps the students to not only be good lawyers but also become good human beings in the future. This institute provides scholarships to meritorious students so that students from underprivileged backgrounds can also study law and go on to change their futures. There are regular lectures by popular professors, judges, and researchers from across the world to enhance the knowledge of the students.The institution conducts a personality development programme, and many workshops are regularly conducted by leading law professionals so that the students can develop their personalities and improve their skills. 

This institution offers BBA, LL. B. (Hons.), B.Com., LL. B. (Hons.) and LL. B. programs.

Admission Procedure

The students seeking admissions into any of the programs of the MIT - WPU School of Law have to apply online. The application procedure is given below.

5. Pay the registration fees.

6. Download the application form and take a printout of it for further use.

Based on the merit list of the entrance examination and personal interview the students are called for admission.

Fee Structure

Placement

The placements provided by the college are really good. The students get placed in various companies in the private sector, corporates, and law firms. Companies like Accenture, Amazon, Force Motors, Fujitsu, HP, Hyundai, and Indian Oil have absorbed the students from the school. The average starting package is 4 to 5 lakhs. Few international companies also employ a handful of students. 

Cut-off

After meeting the eligibility criteria students have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university, ie, the MITWPU UGPET or examinations like MHT CET, CLAT, SLET, and MHCET. Based on the entrance examination scores a merit list is declared. The selected candidates have to go for a personal interview round. Then the final merit list is declared giving weightage to both, the entrance examination and the interview. Then the selected candidates get admitted to MIT-WPU College of Law, Pune.

International Statistics

MIT-WPU College of Law is continuously connecting itself to various international organizations, institutes, universities, etc. They call some international recruiters to recruit their students, and an examination is conducted for the same. To appear for that examination, the student must have an average of 7 CGPA or more in the examinations and should not have any back papers. Besides that, to increase international exposure for students, and help them become global professionals, the college is continuously collaborating with the companies having international recognition.
