Management Development Institute (MDI) is a private business school located in West Bengal, India. It was established in the year of 2014 and founded by Pranab Mukherjee who was the president of India for that time being.

The college is affiliated with AICTE and its main goal is to attain excellence. It has also received accreditation from AMBA. The institute was the first business school in the country that achieved international accreditation and ranked as the 12th best management college in India.

Students with a valid CAT score (domestic) and GMAT score (international) can apply for admission to the PGDM program. However, the steps are listed below to apply to this institution. 

● Visit the website - First, visit the official website of the Management Development Institute to get the application form. 

● Enter details- In the second step, enter all the details and complete registration.

● Enter email Id- You would be asked to enter the  Email ID. Make sure to enter the correct one as it would be verified before the login takes place with the credentials generated. 

● Enter academic information- Upload scanned photographs and enter the personal, academic, and graduation information if asked. Also, enter the CAT registration details.

● Make payment- You will now have to make the payment for the application fee online. This can either be done through any online payment option like Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.

● Download and print -  once the payment is made, make sure to download and print the application form alongside the acknowledgment Slip for future use.

Result and Cut-off

The cut-off of Management Development Institute is around 85 to 90 percentile in CAT  for Admission. These cutoffs are not declared before the shortlisting.
