Indira Gandhi Engineering College Sagar formerly known as Government Engineering College Sagar ranks among the quality driven institutes located in the state of Madhya Pradesh. In December 1986 the institute was shifted to the newly constructed buildings in the land of 220 Acres area allotted by government of Madhya Pradesh in 1985 on a hillock near Baheriya Village of Sagar District, which is about 10 km away from Sagar City. The new Campus is beautifully designed, having high aesthetics sense.
The college is known for having very comprehensive vision and objectives that includes not only Socio-Cultural advancement of society but also economic prosperity as is reflected in the vision.
